If you happen to sneeze around Hungarians, they will respond with a cheerful "Egészségedre!" That's "Bless you!" in Hungarian, one of the most difficult languages in the world. It shares only few similarities with Finnish and it is like no other language you ever heard. Luckily, you don't need to learn it to have a fabulous time in Hungary. Most Hungarians speak English, although they enjoy teaching foreigners their tongue twisters. Budapest, the cosmopolitan capital of Hungary, offers many diversions for both experienced and novice travelers. One favorite is the night time cruise along the Danube River, when the banks are lit up with millions of lights spilling over the hills and you find yourself gliding inside a fairytale, with your glass of champagne and a cashmere wool blanket if the night turns chilly. Another highlight is enjoying the many thermal baths and opulent spas within the city. Hungarian music is another unforgettable experience. Not only the classical music of Bela Bartok and Franz Liszt but also the memorable, fiery Gypsy music, especially when it accompanies exotically flavored gourmet dinner and excellent full-bodied wine. Summer in Hungary means abundant aromatic wines and piles of freshly picked vegetables, especially the colorful sweet peppers and deep-red tomatoes which send their scent through the air. There is also the fruit: plums, cherries, apricots, peaches, pears and especially apples. Apples in Hungary taste the way they did when you were a child.
